Baltics Networking Brunch’s aim is to establish contacts and develop ideas for future cooperation of Baltics countries within the EU Europe for Citizens Programme. Baltics Networking Brunch takes place for the first time, bringing together around 30 participants representing civil society organizations and public authorities from three countries: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The aim is to create partnership possibilities between participating organisations and share the experience of the fifth Opinion Festival, which takes place on 11th – 12th of August in Paide.
In order to support and develop new project partnerships, the participants of the seminar will get a better understanding of Europe for Citizens Programme and have a good opportunity to find partners for their ideas.
The Opinion Festival is a unique event and great opportunity to exchange ideas on the organization of society, to get fresh ideas and new insights. Opinion Festival gives the chance to meet like-minded and inspiring people, and enjoy a cultural program in a convivial summer atmosphere.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The seminar is targeted to civil society organizations and public authorities from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania who are interested in developing international cooperation with funding from the Europe for Citizens Programme, including towns, municipalities and regional authorities, town twinning associations and networks, non-profit organizations and CSOs, survivor’s associations, cultural/youth/educational/research organisations. One participant per organization is expected to attend.
The working language of the event is English.

You can fill out an application form online here: APPLY NOW. A selection of participants will be made by every participating country’s Europe for Citizens contact point taking into consideration the profiles and interests of the applicants.
Deadline for registration has been extended: 5th of August, 2017.
VENUE AND TRANSPORTATION
City of Paide is located in the heart of Estonia and Wabalinna house is just 5 minutes from Paide city centre, nearby the main area from the Opinion Festival.
Local Europe for Citizens contacts points will organize the transportation for Latvians and Lithuanians. Lithuanians will leave on the 10th of August and stay in Riga for the night. Around 7AM on the morning of 11th, ride to Paide will continue with Latvians aboard. Leaving back home from Paide will take place around 4PM on 11th. There is an option to stay at the festival and organize the travel back by participants own preferences. Participants will have a good opportunity network amongst each other by travelling together and during the stay in Riga. Estonian participants will organize their travel by themselves, but reimbursement might be available.
